Steve Clark

President, Majority Shareholder

I started my first business in Edmonton Alberta when I was 19 years old. With practically no experience I found long hours and hard work made up for lack of skills and money. Since that first start up I have been President of several successful business and a financial shareholder in some not so successful.

After over forty years of owning and managing business’s you can’t help but learn what it takes to be successful….. A bias towards your customers, surround yourself with really good employees, constant learning and be ready for change.

I managed to balance a wife and three daughters, a hobby of collecting and racing vintage sports cars and snowboarding along with the rewards and sacrifices of owning your own business. I love seeing the success of the entrepreneurs today.

Wyman Lee

IT Manager

I was born and raised in Victoria, attended UVIC where I got my Economics and Mathematics Degree. I’m married with 3 daughters and a dog. I began my IT profession just when the micro-computer was introduced to the world in the 1980s and started working for Steve Clark in the Money Mart Corporate office.

It’s been quite a dream career path for a local kid to end up working for a multi-national head office in your own home town. Back in those days, I replaced the manual cash registers with computer terminals, designed and wrote the corporate on-line banking/digitized image systems that made our processes much more efficient and provided a faster customer experience.

I’ve been the IT guy for Steve in his last 3 companies and it’s been the same at every one – use IT to make processes more efficient for the company and easier for the customer.
My hobbies are photography, cars, ballroom dancing and I’m an avid critic/expert in buffet style foods

Bruce Marshall

Vice President, Marketing

I was born and raised in Vancouver and have lived in Victoria since 1988. My wife and I have 3 kids in their 20’s who, among everything else kids do, all played soccer and baseball from the time they were 5 years old. So on cumulative basis, I’ve coached or watched over 90 seasons of kids sports – and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m a huge NFL fan (49ers), enjoy any beach that has a Corona on it, play the bagpipes, and have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. And I have a gray cat named Goose.

I’ve been the marketing guy for three of Steve Clarks’ companies over a span of more than 25 years and have enjoyed (almost) every minute of it. Although the internet has dramatically changed marketing over this period, there is one basic marketing philosophy I’ve used that has never changed – be diligent in understanding your customers’ needs, attitudes, behaviors, and values. This way, as a marketer, you’ll be able to think like a customer. It’s simple and it works.

Tania Facca

Over the years I’ve worked in businesses where financing of one kind or another, has been the common thread.  I appreciate how innovation in financing is an integral part in the network of today’s business activities, making all kinds of new things possible. To that end, I like to think of myself not a bean counter in the corner, but a creative member of this lively, sometimes crazy team that learns and changes a little bit every day.

Originally from Ontario, I now adore this little piece of paradise we call Victoria.  I spend much of my leisure time on the soccer field with my partner and my son, coming in last in cycling events, and hiking and beach walks with our dog.  Sometimes we even like to get away somewhere warm when it dips down to 0°C.  Brrrrr.

Poppy Facca

I’m in charge of carpet cleaning for the office. Tania is my mom. I sometimes leak a little but I’ll get over it.

Ian Prost

Director of Operations

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work in finance, coast to coast in Canada and UK, however, nothing better but to be located in Victoria.  My wife (Victoria born and raised), family and I are proud to call Victoria our home, myself since 1992.

Besides working on my forever struggling golf game (which is not getting me to the PGA TOUR), I am a diehard Manchester United fan.  Weekend mornings if I am not watching Premier League Soccer, I am out and about walking with our dog Sammy.

As the PGA TOUR is out, I am proud to be a part of Company Capital and its vision and philosophy toward customers and the ever changing business of finance.

Donna Perrin

Assistant to the President

I’m a Bluenoser from the East Coast who slowly made her way West with stops in Peterborough, Calgary, Banff and finally landed in Victoria. Most of my working life was spent in banking with forays into insurance, property development and the hospitality industry. And all the experience helped me land my position with Steve as his assistant in 2010.

I’m a water baby (after all, I am an Aquarian) and I love to spend time at the beach – whether it’s here in Victoria or on any one of the beautiful beaches along the Gulf Coast of Florida. My other love is food … whether it’s preparing it or sourcing it out. We have lots of local farmers markets here on the Island and any Saturday morning in the summer will find me making my way along my usual route for the best tomatoes, Dungeness crab, smoked salmon, apples or whatever happens to be in season.

Customer service has played a major role in every position I’ve ever held. I try to treat everyone exactly how I would want to be treated myself. When people say they can hear the smile in my voice over the phone – I know I’ve accomplished that.

Melanie Ramos

Client Relations Coordinator

I’m a proud prairie girl from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I’ve recently made a move to beautiful Victoria, BC to escape the dreadfully cold winters and for a bit of an adventure. I love being outdoors and am often found beachcombing for objects and driftwood to make art pieces. Another great passions is cooking, probably because I also take great joy in eating delicious food!

Company Capital has become my second home, the amazing staff and positive atmosphere make it a great place to come to work!
